Product 02 · Stratum

The truth layer for every commitment your company makes and every source it relies on.

Governed reasoning for enterprises that own their record.

Ingest any data. Track every commitment. Catch every contradiction. Signed proof on every finding.

Stratum ingests contracts, emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, meeting notes, and exports — then tracks the commitments, discrepancies, and integrity anomalies your operators can’t watch by hand. AI governance is one facet of a broader integrity substrate.

1 · Ingest

Any data. Any source. Any company size.

Drop the files your operators live in. PDFs, contracts, spreadsheets, meeting notes, email threads, exports. Stratum reads them, extracts commitments and facts, and threads them into your dashboard alongside everything you’ve already ingested.

File formats · live
PDF DOCX CSV XLSX EML JSON TXT / MD HTML / XML
Up to 25 MB per file · audit-logged with SHA-256 · path-sanitized
Intake channels
  • Drag-and-drop upload · live
  • Text / JSON paste · live
  • » Per-tenant email forward address · address reserved · MX activates this week
  • » Salesforce · OAuth connector in build
  • Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, S3, SFTP · on request
2 · Commitments

Every promise your team makes · every promise made to you.

Every commitment becomes a first-class object: who owes what, to whom, by when, with what value at stake. Track the entire lifecycle from creation through breach or closure — without a human watching each one.

Breached
Deadline missed · escalation triggered
At risk
72 hours to due · no closure evidence
On track
Owned · progressing · evidence flowing
Closed
Delivered · receipts on file · case closed
What Stratum tracks per commitment
· owner (internal or external party)
· counterparty
· deadline
· value at stake ($)
· evidence chain
· linked findings + contradictions
3 · Contradictions

Same fact stated differently in two sources · caught automatically.

Contract says one thing. Email says another. Invoice says a third. Stratum reads across the entire body of ingested data and flags cross-source conflicts — before they show up in an audit, a board deck, or a lawsuit.

Example flagged in the demo tenant
Statement A · email thread
“October volume: 41,000 units delivered on time.”
Statement B · Q3 supplier report
“Meridian Supply Q3 volume: 47,000 units.”
Flagged automatically · linked to the affected commitment · visible in dashboard within one cascade sweep.
4 · Anomalies + integrity

The patterns humans miss · the substrate finds.

Every finding runs through the Primitive-8 rule set: eight organizational-integrity checks that surface the things a busy operator can’t manually watch for. Fraud-adjacent patterns show up here before they become losses.

What gets surfaced
  • · Vendor claims not supported by delivery data
  • · Anomalous value shifts between periods
  • · Missing evidence chains on closed commitments
  • · Commitments made but never actioned
  • · Persona / role-scope drift on decisions
Rule set (live)
  • RULE_8_03 · Doctrine Presence
  • RULE_8_04 · Contradiction Load
  • RULE_8_07 · Forecast Persona Absence
  • · RULE_8_01 / 02 / 05 / 06 / 08 · rolling out this quarter

Every finding ships with a signed integrity_hash. A customer, an auditor, or a court can rerun the substrate against the ingested source and reproduce the exact same finding. Not opinion — reproducible measurement.

5 · AI governance · included

Same substrate. AI-behavior enforcement is one facet.

The same substrate that catches contradictions in your contracts governs the behavior of your AI systems. Doctrine-based routing. Refuse-with-proof when the AI can’t ground an answer. Signed receipts on every substrate response. No silent hallucination.

Deterministic routing
Signed refusals
DCI receipts
Hash-chained audit log

Boards get defensibility. Regulators get explainability. Compliance teams get reproducible proof. Your AI stops making things up.

What it detects today

Three governed rules ship today. More are on the roadmap.

v0.1

Commitment Drift

When a stated commitment ages past a doctrine-locked threshold with no binding action recorded, and the contradiction density around it is trending upward — Stratum flags it. Not because it looks suspicious. Because the substrate says so.

v0.1

Contradiction Cluster

When contradictions spike across three or more surfaces in a two-week window, Stratum flags the cluster and names every surface involved. This is the pattern that precedes disclosed misconduct in nearly every corporate case history worth studying.

v0.1

Forecast Persona Absence

When a persona named in a forecast is absent from the operational record that would substantiate them — the projection doesn't stand up. Stratum flags the gap between the projection's roster and the record's actual activity, with citations to the referenced persona and the absent activity trail.

roadmap · v0.2

Fragmentation Signature · Knowledge Diffusion Failure · Orphaned Entity · Structural Incoherence. Each has its doctrine locked; each is waiting on a substrate layer (ownership map, coherence map, drift archive) currently in build.

What Stratum flags in practice

Three patterns Stratum surfaces on any corporate record.

Illustrative scenarios — not tied to any real company or corpus.

RULE_8_03 · Commitment Drift

A leadership commitment made in Q1 — "we will hire 50 engineers by mid-year" — is stated in an all-hands memo. In Q2, the language softens to "ramp appropriately." By Q3, an external filing references a headcount number that doesn't match the internal number anywhere. No single email is alarming.

Stratum watches the commitment's orbit. Contradiction density trends upward over the window; the commitment has aged past threshold with no binding action recorded. The rule fires. The receipt cites the all-hands memo, the Q2 board deck, and the Q3 external filing.

RULE_8_04 · Contradiction Cluster

Twelve contradictions surface in twelve days across finance, product, and legal — none dramatic in isolation, none escalated by any single reviewer. A revised forecast conflicts with a signed customer commitment; a product roadmap conflicts with a board update; a legal memo conflicts with an operational plan.

Stratum groups the cluster and names every surface involved. The reviewer sees the pattern that no single inbox would have shown them. Twelve contradictions crossing three surfaces in a two-week window is the shape that precedes disclosed misconduct in most corporate case histories worth studying.

Governed refusal

A meeting is referenced across three follow-up emails, but its transcript never made it to the ingest corpus. The commitment discussed in that meeting is real to the participants, invisible to Stratum.

Stratum does not guess. It returns a governed refusal citing missing evidence: "cannot score drift on commitment referenced in 3 downstream emails; source transcript absent from corpus." The reviewer knows exactly what's needed, and no fabricated finding enters the record.

Security

What Stratum guarantees — and what it doesn't.

Only claims that are verifiable in the current substrate. No aspirational security marketing.

circaOS LLM in the reasoning path

Findings are produced by circaOS LLM inside the governed reasoning path. No third-party LLM inference in the response path.

SHA-256 integrity-hashed receipts

Every finding carries a dci.receipt.v0.1 with a SHA-256 integrity hash, independently recomputable by any third party.

Governed refusal when uncertain

When correctness cannot be established, Stratum emits a governed refusal instead of a guess. The refusal is part of the doctrine, not a fallback.

Doctrine-locked emission path

Findings can only be emitted through the sanctioned emitter. Doctrine tests fail any code path that tries to write anomaly events directly.

Honestly not claimed yet

The following would require a full security audit before appearing on this page. We won't claim them until they're verified:

Also honestly: the substrate exposes public HTTP routes and the ingest layer retains hash-chained audit logs by design. Neither is a defect; both are part of how governance works. We say so out loud.

Honest boundaries

What Stratum isn't.

Not a text-phrase detector.

It doesn't scan for "off the books" and page the compliance team.

Not a narrative generator.

It won't tell you what the pattern means. It shows you the pattern with receipts, and the pattern speaks for itself.

Not consultingware.

No six-week configuration engagement. No partner network. The rules are doctrine-locked and the substrate is deterministic. If you can hand it a corpus, you can use it.

Not a replacement for legal review.

It surfaces what a reviewer would want to see; the reviewer still owns the judgment call.
